Write to Heal: 6-Week BIPOC Narrative Journey Begins April 10
A 6-Week Guided Narrative Journey for BIPOC Community
Beginning April 10 • Only 8 Spaces Available
Some stories live in the body long before they reach the page.
Write to Heal is a transformative 6-week journey for BIPOC individuals ready to gently explore family stories—outside the traditional therapy model, yet within a deeply held, trauma-informed container.
This is not about craft, grammar, or perfection.
This is about reframing your untold stories with compassion.
Trauma often happens in isolation. Healing begins when we are seen through a warm gaze.
What You'll Experience
You'll receive:
- Weekly writing prompts designed for deep exploration
- Compassionate witnessing from your facilitator
- Nervous system regulation tools
- A supportive community container
- Two individual 1:1 sessions (30 minutes each)
Over six weeks, you will:
- Unearth untold family stories at your own pace — without reliving trauma
- Develop a consistent reflective writing practice within a group container
- Receive thoughtful, compassionate written witnessing each week
- Reframe experiences with greater compassion and self-trust
- Support nervous system regulation through narrative journaling
Is This For You?
This space is for you if you are:
- Part of the BIPOC community navigating complex family dynamics, migration stories, silence, rupture, or legacy
- Ready to go gently deeper into your healing process
- Seeking a structured yet spacious container
- Looking for an alternative or complement to therapy
- Able to dedicate 45-60 minutes per week to personal writing (individually or with a group)
A Note of Care
This is a healing space, not a crisis service. It is not suitable for those currently experiencing an acute mental health crisis without additional support systems in place. You are encouraged to move at your own pace and begin with stories that feel accessible.
“Narrative journaling helps to rewrite your stories with compassion, while sending positive affirmations and goodwill to the person or situation.”
-Dr. Chris Lipat.
Narrative journaling has been shown to support emotional regulation and vagal tone, helping the body integrate stress responses and cultivate resilience.
